Chicken Chasing by Angie Friedel
Chicken Chasing, a photo by Angie Friedel on Flickr.

Chicken chasing is an annual event in which we catch the chickens that roam free on our expansive farm. We then chop their heads off and watch them run around sans heads. Kidding. We don’t have a farm, nonetheless chickens. I’m not Martha freaken’ Stewart. These were some delicious feathered friends hanging out at a restaurant in Muskego called, The Gingerbread House. I had a chicken salad sandwich for lunch. I think I heard it clucking at me.
