Day 30 of 366

30 Jan

I found my tea! A few weeks ago, on my quest to ween myself off coffee, the tea snobs at Teavana totally suckered me into buying this crazy expensive loose leaf tea, and I made myself like it because I didn’t want to have buyer’s remorse. Maybe it is my unsophisticated palate, but I didn’t think it tasted like anything special. I don’t care if the leaves came from a sacred tea plant and were hand-picked by a 203 year old descendant of Buddha. For all I know, they could have sold me the crumpled up leaves from my backyard. Recently, at the grocery store, I recognized the tea I had in Ireland years ago and bought it for at least $10 less than the snob tea. I am so happy with it, that I might switch from Guiness to tea for breakfast.
